☀️ SUMMER DISCLAIMER ☀️

Please be aware that swimming is not recommended for at least 2 months after receiving a new piercing.

Bodies of water such as pools, oceans, lakes, rivers, hot tubs, and water parks can contain bacteria, germs, and other contaminants that may increase the risk of infection. Because a new piercing is essentially an open wound while it heals, exposure to these environments can significantly interfere with the healing process and lead to complications.

If swimming, beach trips, or other water-related summer activities are important to you, we strongly recommend waiting until after those plans have passed before getting pierced. Scheduling your piercing for the fall or after your summer travel is often the best way to ensure a smooth and healthy healing process.
