Founded by Maryssa and Shaun Gray, a passionate wife-and-husband duo, Odyssey is more than just a tattoo and piercing studio—it’s a journey.

 

With years of experience in the body art industry, Maryssa, a skilled tattoo artist, and Shaun, an expert piercer, share a deep love for the art and the transformative power it holds. Three years ago, they set out on a life-changing journey, traveling full-time across the globe. Immersing themselves in the vibrant tattoo cultures of 37 countries, they learned, grew, and competed alongside the world’s best.

 

Now, Odyssey is rooted in Cary, North Carolina, bringing their global experiences home. At Odyssey, you’ll find an exceptional team of resident artists, each a master of their own craft and dedicated to pushing the boundaries of body art. In addition, we’re proud to regularly host guest artists from around the world—ensuring fresh perspectives and innovative styles are always within reach.

 

We also welcome skilled piercers who are APP compliant or certified, upholding the highest standards of safety and precision.
